When first performed in 1951, the London Evening News described this play thus. "Warmly sympathetic and admirably written comedy. A play of unmistakable quality."

Sadly, we have no programme for this performance and so, while the list of characters can be determined from the script, I am unable to record the names of the Fairlight cast. The above pictures are believed to be from this performance and, while they clearly don't show the entire cast, perhaps somebody will be able to help us out by identifying those who are pictured.
